Firstly, thank you for wanting to learn more about the person behind my products. They’re so personal to me and to those who own them that opening up to you about how I developed my designs is an important element behind the entire brand. After spending twelve years in the demanding world of plant hire, I found myself burnt out, anxious, and searching for something that felt more meaningful. The long hours and constant pressure had taken their toll, and I knew I needed a change — not just in career, but in purpose.
One Sunday morning, I woke up with the name “Handmade by Christine” in my head, and it felt like a sign. I took a leap of faith, I booked myself on a course to learn the basics of resin, and quickly discovered how much joy and calm creativity could bring. What began as a personal escape soon became a calling.
Handmade by Christine was born from a simple but powerful decision — to do business differently.
After working in a ruthless industry, I made a promise that my business would be built on integrity, honesty, and heart. Every design is made with care, intention, and transparency — from the first spark of inspiration to the finished piece in your hands.
